Hello bikeradar! I recently bought the rockrider 520, the forks are a big crap and I want some bigger ones to hit the trails.
I would like at least 120 mm but I am not sure which to buy as there is a lot selection. Can someone give me a recommendation or a guide on what to look into to.
The Bike is mainly used for general off road, rocky trails and some small aerials

Your bike has 80mm travel and the RR540 and RR560 come with 100m forks. You may be going out of spec if you fit 120mm travel forks and risk damage to the frame.

are there any forks which would be an upgrade to the current ones?

Any decent 100mm fork, a Suntour Epicon/Epixon would be a significant upgrade, what budget do you have?
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

Under £100 if possible I may be able to tune it up a bit

Look for a good used Reba then, you won't get a decent upgrade for £100 new.

Under £100 is probably going to be some dual coil rock shox forks, tora sl, 318 or something like that, I had a set, rockshox tora rs 318 u-turn, reliable forks with good travel adjustment but just too heavy for my liking.

You can of course buy some spares/repair forks and rebuild them, you might get a 150/200 set of forks for £100 with parts and you rebuilding them yourself.
