Morning, Looking at a Specialzed Allez as a first Road Bike, but need some advice around frame size. I am 6' 1/4" and seem to fall right in the middle of the 56 and 58 frame sizes. How much difference would it make in terms of the ride etc if I went with the 58 as opposed the 56. Thanks

Best advice is to go to a shop where you can have a test ride. Chances are that one size or the other will feel better.

Going on http://www.specialized.com/gb/gb/bikes/ ... lez/129052 , either could fit, depending upon your cycling inseam and how low you want the bars relative to the saddle.

At 5'10" with ~32.5" cycling inseam (a relatively long torso), I would pick the 58cm for myself, which has 390mm reach and a monsterous 627mm stack because of my old lower back injury. My 58cm Cube has 389mm reach and 610mm stack.

Main thing is a slightly small bike is easy to adjust, a bike that is too big is impossible to adjust.
