After you have a puncture with a tubeless tyre?

Had my first 'puncture' with tubeless tyre this weekend.Did not know I had had one until cleaning up the bike and found a bead of latex from a small hole , had no noticeable pressure loss.
Do I still have to make a repair inside the tyre or is the sealant a permanent solution?

    Leave it alone and forget about it, that's the point of tubeless

    Out of interest, under what circumstances is a tubeless tyre deemed fit for the bin?
