Carrera Subway Mudguards

I've just bought a new Carrera Subway 1 and want to fit full mudguards, but the bike has 27.5" x 1.95" tyres and the usual mudguard manufacturers don't seem to make any that are an exact match. SKS does make both 26" x 60mm and 28" x 60mm mudguards - so I'm just wondering which would be the best option, size up or down?

Also if anyone's fitted mudguards to the Subway before, perhaps you could say which type you used? Thanks.
