Hi, i am going to replace the wheels on my shimano 105 5700 derailleur. I have bought shimano replacements but they have nothing to indicate if one goes on the top or direction of rotation, does this mean it doesn't matter with them?

Cheers

Shimano 5700 ones normally have a direction arrow and an indication of which is top/bottom. The G-pulley (guide pulley) goes in the upper position closest to the cassette. The bottom one is the tension pulley. If there are no markings, the G-pulley has more sideways play -ie it can move laterally on its bushing/axle.
