Maxxis Ardent EXO
- Superior grip on sand or mud
- Heavier with higher rolling weight
- Less expensive
- Super easy to install/inflate with a hand pump
- They just don't feel as fast on high speed trails and berms

As RR are small block racing snake tyres and Ardents are big block aggressive tyres, I'd expect them to be different. They are designed for very different riding.

    Pointless comparison.

Should really be comparing Ardents to Ron or Nic, also without specifying compound it's an even more pointless comparison.

Nearly all my Schwalbe go up tubeless with just a track pump.

30psi is a bit on the high side.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
  • Wow...thanks for the kind words. Guess I'm an idiot.

    Bit sensitive, you asked....

    And a rather pointless edit.

A good tyre for rear but doubt I'd run one as a front tyre. I've run my tubeless tyres at 30 psi but was riding on road and some hard pack public footpaths.
