Corrupted FIT file

I went for a ride recently with my Edge Touring running following a route I was following when suddenly it turned off. I saved the ride to that point as I was near my destination anyway but found later the file wouldn't upload to Garmin Connect because it has been corrupted. I have changed the settings on the Garmin to saving ride data to micro SD card instead of the internal storage so should be okay now, read that info on here.
I tried using http://garmin.kiesewetter.nl/ to fix the corrupted FIT file but it still wont upload. Any other ideas or advice to repair this file? Thanks

I used a piece of software called Fit File Repair Tool (fitfilerepairtool.info) but this is not a free fix - you need to purchase the software.0

Strava fixed one of mine. Try emailing them with it0

Also try http://www.fitfiletools.com which has managed to repair a few of mine in the past.0

Thanks that's fixed it, I had managed to upload to Strava yesterday I think they have an autofix tool, but it's on Garmin Connect also now. Thanks for the help and replies.0 -

Out of interest, which of the FIT FILE Tools did you use to fix the problem?“You may think that; I couldn’t possibly comment!”

Do the ride again and upload that, if it's really so important.0
