Uttegra 5800 derailleur compatible with 105 5700

Looking to put a 32t cassette on my 105 5700 compact. Getting a med cage derailleur wondering would a ultegra 5800 be compatible with the 5700.
Also can you get a 32t cassette with 28t - 30t - 32t instead of jumping from 28t to 32t

    No it wont work because it uses a different cable pull.

    With some experimenting,depending on the length of your hanger and with some b-screw adjustment you might be able to get the short cage working with a 32t.

    or

    Try a wolftooth road link with your current short cage RD.
