Is the outer cable off a large roll sold by the meter at the bike shop the same as the cable sold in packed cable sets? It doesn't have silver logos on it but is it identical otherwise?

I have always used generic cable outer for both brakes and gears.

I would assume for the ultimate super record experience you might want to go wit the original one though... I was happy with a botched up Veloce experience :-)

The stuff Im referring to is sold as Campagnolo but it doesnt have the silver logos on it. It has Campagnolo stamped on it but you can barely see it. I think it has a slightly matte finish compared to the stuff in packets.
