Least Expensive Future-Proof

Hello all,
I’m in the market for a new XC style (100mm travel) hardtail. A super important factor for me is future upgradabulity on the frame. This has led me to the necessity of a rear thru axle, knowing that the fork can always be changed.
Does anyone have any ideas on what the cheapest thru axle hard tail, or even just frame, would be?
My goal budget is to try to stay under $1000. (£800 - €850)
A frame only would be okay, but it would need to have a cost low enough to factor in fork, wheel, and cockpit purchases. I already have a SLX m7000 1x 11 drivetrain.
Any advice is greatly appreciated
Thanks,
Jackson

Future proofing in the bike industry, seriously?
Which size of the several already available through axle sizes are you sure will be the one that sticks around and is the one you want? (135,142,148,150 with 10,12 or 15mm diameter). Good luck with guessing right.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
