Bar end shifters and brakes

I am a tourist not a racer, I want to combine bar end shifters with 'bar end' brakes on some bull horn/tt bars. The problem is that all the brakes I can find that might fit the bill use the same kind of internal bar end fixing as the shifters. What I need are external clamping brakes. The only ones I have found are for 22.2 mm bars and mine are 24 mm ( external ). Any suggestions?

Some kind of fixie brake?
Or I have seen standard drop bar levers used on bull horn bars, depends on the shape
