Shimano CS-HG50 / CS-HG400 9 speed replacement question

I have a 2009 Specialised Rockhopper that came with a CS-HG50 9 speed cassette 11t-34t.
I've been replacing the worn out bits of the bike bit by bit in an effort to keep my old trusty on the trail without burning a load of cash on a new bike. Now its the turn of the cassette as I've just fitted new chain rings and chain.
The CS-HG50 seems hard to find and I've been offered a CS-HG400 Alivio/Sora 9 speed as a replacement and before I bite the bullet am trying to find out if it is indeed a viable alternative without having to worry about replacing anything else?
thanks for any advice.
regards,
Chris

Any of them will do, the more you pay (rrp) the lighter the weight. Same no. teeth B screw should be ok, H & L should be ok, but cable may need 1/4 or 1/2 turn. Got the correct tools? The Wife complained for months about the empty pot of bike oil on the hall stand; so I replaced it with a full one.0

As above, any 9 speed SRAM or Shimano cassette will work, you would need to index it but if you stick to the same number of teeth then it will be minimal.
Consider a low usage used one that's better quality.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
