Got the opportunity to pick one of these up for £10 Would mainly be used as a secondary bike to ride with the family.

Thoughts?

Basically a hybrid, but if you're not planning anything too gnarly you can't really go wrong for a tenner.

You could probably make an instant profit on Gumtree anyway.

Cheers, that's pretty much what I thought. I'm more of a road rider anyway. This would essentially be a pub bike/family bimble

Sounds perfect. No loss when you ride into a canal on the way home from the pub.

 If i'm riding by a canal I've taken a very scenic route!

When coming from a pub, all bets are off!

I did pick this bike up in the end and have ridden it on and off, but the bottom bracket is shot and the pedals rock all over the shop. I've managed to remove the BB but cannot see anything to identify what to replace it with. Any direction here for a mechanical novice is appreciated.
