Looking to purchase a camera for the bike. This is due to the number of near misses and I reckon it would be good to have some video evidence in the event of a collision. However I have no idea about them. What is the best considering my only interest is recording my rides which would be in the region of 3/4 hours. Probably one which has the capability of carrying a spare battery I would think or am I wrong. Handlebar or helmet, which is best. Thanks in advance.

You therefore need 2 .. fore and aft.
Rear facing for the coroner as that is likely to be fatal.

Cycliq Fly6 and Fly12. Not cheap but will easily last 4 hours. Had a Garmin Virb for the front before that. It was okay but needed to change the battery after about 2 hours.
