MATCHING REAR DERAILLEUR AND CASSETTE

Hi all,
I intend to change my Shimano 11-23 cassette to a 11-28, will my existing short cage rear derailleur run ok with the 11-28. Thanks in advance

    Yes, but you might need a bit more chain.
