Recently picked these up from a member on here. Very happy with them just a slight niggle with the non-drive side rear bearing.
Was running a bit rough so have swapped it out. Still it's running rough. I don't have a bearing press tool so had to knock it in. Is this enough to damage it? Next attempt would be pressing another new one in.
From what I am aware they are bitex hubs which don't get the best feedback from what I see. Can't recall off the top of my head but pretty sure 20 front and 24 rear. Is it worth looking at potentially a new rear hub? Is there a straight swap or new spokes needed as well?
A couple of photos below.
Thanks

other hubs will require new spokes and the cost starts to go up. Just an LBS to press in a bearing properly or ship the wheel to someone who can.
Yes bitex hubs have small bearings and these wear out more quickly than bigger ones do but they are simple to service so live with them. It simply is not worth the hassle of the rebuild for you that is. The wheel builder however will be happy to bill you for the work.http://www.thecycleclinic.co.uk -wheel building and other stuff.0 -

Perfect. Will see if there is anyone nearby if not i will have to post them off as you said..
They aren't overly bad to be fair. Just not as smooth as they should be, certainly don't spin as freely as they should.0
