Did your 4 y/o daughter choose that bottle cage?

The bike looks like it will do the job it needs to do with all it's clever tubes and angles, but it just doesn't look nice ... If you are a pro trying to win and being paid to ride what your told to, great ... But if you are spending your own cash then I'd want to get some enjoyment out of the aesthetics ...

I like the bar tape ...

Why the hate? I think it looks rather fine.

Why was it a nightmare build?

I am guessing all the hidden cables... the integrated brakes etc... must be a nightmare to build

I have built all my bikes myself over the years including di2 and eps on my c6o,this is mechanical and its an absolute
    pain to build.
As ugo said all the cables etc took me 2 days.
They give you a manual but dont make much sense really so faffed about myself until done.

  • Aesthetically the exaggerated sloping top tube in a smaller frame doesn't make it pleasing on the eye

And whats that huge lump on the head/ steerer tube
I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles

Jeepers - Tough crowd here. Nice bike. Is this an H1 fit? Reason i ask is, i'm just finishing a 7 series build H1 and bejebus, does my top tube slope big style too.

    No, it's a H2 geo frame.

I fell out of love with these bikes after having 2 for a very short time.

Build quality was shocking on the standard bikes, not sure if the ProjectOne/H1/RSL bikes are different?

Aesthetically I'm not a fan on the bar tape, lets the whole build look dull IMO. Same colour as a pensioners orthopaedic shoe.

Bar tape, bottle cage, headset spacers and saddle bag, they would my personal changes.

Trek's move to more sloping top tubes is a bit marmite aesthetically.

In the photo, that's closing in towards the point where it looks like a women's specific bike to me (perhaps accentuated by the fact it is a small frame though).

What brand of saddle pack is that, looks good at that angle tucked into your seat.

Also, is the the Wi-Fli SRAM eTap cassette and derailleur?

Ride is really comfortable due to the isospeed decoupler

    It's a Lezyne Road Caddy.

Its the leyzne road caddy, running normal etap rear mech with a 32 cassette no problems unless you run big big which you should not do anyway ,52/36 upfront

I hear you. Glad you like it. I did my North Bristol to South Devon run yesterday, 96 miles, the Dogma certainly puts more feel into the rider for sure. Got off the bike knowing I had a good blast over six hours wanting the decoupler LOL :D

The build would've been much easier with Sean etap, but you do still have to mess with the brakes.

I'm waiting to get a canyon aeroad here

I know most aero bikes on the market rn are due for an update very very soon, but this is my last year racing as a junior so I can't wait. I know late 2017 is a pretty terrible year to get an aero bike, and I might regret it next year, so I'm not spending too much on one.
