Anyway, it turns out that the tabs on the bottom of the Elemnt that fit into the slots on the round mount "puck" are very slightly larger than on a Garmin, so the unit won't fit. To get around that, you just need to trim a tiny bit of plastic from the edges of the slot ... and only on one side. You can leave the other slot intact. The Elemnt tab will slide under the lip on the non-trimmed side, then it will slip into the trimmed slot. Rotate it 90% and you're done. The video shows my modified mount.

It can, but the word is that it is not very secure. Do you want to fork out £16 now for a proper mount, or the money to replace the Bolt when it falls off and gets broken?
I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.

And unless you can rotate the mount, your Wahoo will be mounted sideways. The Wahoo screen doesn't do landscape orientation.

Might have to buy the second mount anyway - that method above only seems to work if you use the Garmin out front mount on its side (TT bars for example) otherwise the unit will be sideways facing.

Agree prob not the best fix either so will go and buy a second wahoo aero mount.

    thanks
