Horrendous click, not your average noise

Recently bike was making a terrible creak and click, only when seated. Discovered a pivot bearing was dead and all bearings replaced with Max Enduro bearings. Also new saddle and seat post. Headset bearings cleaned and checked.
Now the awful creak has gone but there's still a loud click. As with all mtb noises it's hard to pinpoint, but does seem to come from somewhere between saddle and BB, around shock area basically.
It does it when I manipulate the saddle, however I have changed saddle and tried saddle on another bike to eliminate saddle as the cause. I assume it happens when seated due to the different forces then acting on the bike and the leverage it enables.
I have checked the seat post collar, cleaned and greased bolt, all seems correct.
I am at a loss. I have a North Wales trip next month and to me this seems like something is in dire need of attention but I am at a loss. I will contine the hunt and next take shock apart, though I don't think such a click can be from the shock itself. I should try to record it really. Any ideas?

Have you checked the bottom bracket, pedals, crank and chain rings?“Life has been unfaithful
And it all promised so so much”

Hi yes, all has been off, plus can do it when feet not on pedals.
Despite seeing no damage I have swapped post collar to another, and while no clicking in my car park, I have been in this position 4 times now where I get high hopes only for it to start back up again on the trail.
Chances of the seat post collar (Hope) being at fault...?_______________________________________________________________________________________

Try tightening the seat clamp a bit more than you think you should, ensuring the dropper can still operate.“Life has been unfaithful

Mine does this, just the seat with my fat ass on it. Nothing wrong as far as I'm concerned.
You could try carbon paste, means you don't have to tighten your seat clamp as much?0 -
Maybe a bolt isn't tight enough allowing an inner bearing race to rotate on it rather than being clamped stationary?Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

It's not the seat, and post only clamped to 6nm.
All pivot bolts apparently are either 9-11nm or 12-15nm. To er on the side of caution, they were torqued to 9 and 12, and Loctite used._______________________________________________________________________________________

Do you have a dropper post? If so, it could be play in that. Try leaning on the saddle with an elbow and put some sudden body weight through it, if there is play in the travel of the post, it will give a noticeable clunk. If so, try removing the seat post completely and take the saddle off, then put one end on something on the ground to stop damage and put some weight through it again (quite difficult to do), that would isolate it. If it clunks again, your seat post needs a service.
Apparently it can be caused by lifting your bike by the saddle which lets air get into the system.0 -
Hi well it has done the same high pitched metallic clinging with both a Reverb and now the Highline, I have checked it for play as apparently Crankbrothers used to be known for that, but mine has none._______________________________________________________________________________________
