Mystery bike bit
So I'm fitting a SRAM Force groupset to a new frame and this little piece is left over...
Any thoughts where it might have come from? Front mech is band-on, no chain catcher, I can't see anywhere this can fit.
19 x 7 mm, one concave side so looks like it should sit against a tube

Looks like its a bit to clamp the gear cable down ?

It's part of the bolt for the front mech.0

It goes behind the chain catcher for the adjustment screw to work against. I can take a photo of mine, if you like?Ben

It's from another bike with SRAM Red, I didn't need this part because I had to use an adapter band for the braze-on mech, which has the adjuster bit integrated. So nothing to do with the mechs I was attaching, which is a relief0
