Can someone explain to me (in simple terms) the main differences between these two bikes, i can do the usual googling etc but would be good to hear in some easy to understand lingo.

One is a mustard colour, has bigger rings and a bit heavier.I don't do smileys.

Silly, isn't it. One frame has "gravel" geometry, the other has "CX" geometry; funnily enough, the numbers on the Geometry tab are identical. I'd wager that they're exactly the same frame, but with a different paint job. The actual differences appear to be:
Chainrings
Bars
Tyres
Colour
Incidentally, the tyres on the "CX" bike are wider than the UCI limit (not that this would be a problem for local league racing, but if you're going to pretend CX and gravel bikes are different things, you might aswell make the CX bike legal...)Pannier, 120rpm.0 -
Both are are on the lardy side and are both really CX bikes. Most of the newer gravel bikes come with more clearance for wider tyres. Now where's that "Get Out of Crash Free Card"0
