2nd Bike - Unsure what to get and when.

I know there are countless threads already on this, and believe me, I've read plenty of them. However I've come to a point where I need/want a new bike.

My Giant Defy with Shimano 105 has served me well, but I want something a bit faster and flashier. I'm looking along the lines of a lightweight race bike i.e. Supersix Evo, Emonda, Teamachine, TCR, Canyon CF, Boardman SLR etc. My budget started at £2000 but inevitably its creeping up and up towards dream bikes that would most likely result in a divorce!

I'm looking for a minimum of Shimano Ultegra and if possible decent wheels to avoid a future upgrade. The Canyon's look like a great deal but the paint jobs don't get me going as such. Same could be said for the Boardman Elite range. Also, Im going to be honest, I like my brands. I want a bike that stands out a bit and I feel great on and love riding.

I've looked at and fell in love with a Supersix Evo Hi-Mod thats out of my price range, however I could be tempted to go for a standard Supersix although I'm not a fan of the paint job on the Cannondale in my budget). I quite like the look of the Mustard Yellow BMC teammachine SLR02 also. Both are on offer at Evans at the moment.

Also my local BS sells Look and Bianchi so I'm going to check those out. I'm fairly handy with bike maintenance so I also think my own build could be an option!

Finally, I know that the bikes above have a couple of offers, aswell as some discounts starting to creep in on the Canyon website, but should I hold off for a few weeks until the big discounts come in?

Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated. Am I missing a diamond that I haven't mentioned? Is there a Ridley or a Rose that would be right up my street that I've missed. Thanks in advance.

    Thanks for the reply Oxoman.

Update: I went and tried a few of the bikes I mentioned on the OP. The Supersix Evo (which was the bike I wanted) just didn't seem to fit right. I know I could have changed the Stem length and adjusted a few bits but something didn't seem right when I sat on it. I tried the Teammachine and the Emonda too and they both seemed to suit me better.

Out of them all though the TCR felt so natural to me. I really enjoyed it and I was zipping up a the climbs, throwing it around corners etc. Decided that's the one for me there and then, so I managed to get a sweet deal on a TCR Advanced Pro 1 at a bike shop not to far from me. Should be here on Wednesday :D
