Evening all.

Receltly took deliver of some Carbon Clinchers and was wondering where to position the brake pads relative to the top, middle or bottom of the brake track.

TIA.

Bottom furthest away from the tyre to keep the heat away as best as possible, but still on the brake track, not rubbing on the fairing.

    Cheers.

I thought that maybe the answer, but didn't want to presume.

To be fair the brake track isn't exactly wide, so theres probably only a few mm in it.

you need to be careful with this, as the pad wears, it naturally becomes wider, if it starts too low, it will touch below the brake track.
i assume you are concerned about heat build up? decent pads and considerate braking is what will make the difference, not if the pad is a mill lower.
