Can anybody help with the following question. When a rider has a puncture and needs a new wheel is it possible to just change bikes as this would be obviously quicker or can you only change the wheel.

    Froome got a bike change when it appeared he'd punctured after the crash today.

    You can change bike at any time as far as I'm aware but riders tend to like their main bike for one reason or another. I think it also takes longer to get it off the roof than a decent mechanic on a wheel change.
