Replace or fix stock wheels?

Hi all,
My first message here. I'm relatively new to cycling (2 yrs) and I have 2 bikes (MTB, TT), which I feel proud of.
Now I'm facing an issue for which I'd like to hear your opinions.
During the last maintenance of the TT bike in my LBS they 'found' a problem with the freehub. I say 'found' cause I think they just broke it by not knowing how to unmount it. The wheels are the stock ones: size 650c, Alexrims RA30, hubs Formula and bladed spokes (front 24, rear 28) (http://www.jensonusa.com/Jamis-Xenith-T ... ow-X-Small)
Unfortunately, the guys in LBS here in Colombia have really really basic knowledge and they couldn't tell me exactly what replacement might be used or what my options are. I tried to search on internet the replace freehub and based on what I saw of the broken part, I think this is the part https://www.amazon.com/Cass-Body-Fh-01- ... B0186OR3CO (which I'd have to import because they don't sell it here in CO)
However, I don't know if it's worthy to buy it 'trying' to fix that wheel, because 1) I'm not 100% sure that the piece will fit and 2) I've read that most people think that when a formula hub from the stock wheels breaks it's better to get a new wheelset. Also everybody agree that the replacing the stock wheels might be the best improvement one can made.
In that matter the wheelsize (650c) doesn't help much either, as there are not many affordable options. I found the BWW site and they have 2 wheelset:
- http://bicyclewheelwarehouse.com/Road/2 ... 1355g.html
- http://bicyclewheelwarehouse.com/Road/2 ... -650c.html
I like the first one because of the low weight and sealed cartridge bearings. However, I haven't found much information on the performance, quality and durability of the Pure rims and hubs (BWW own brand).
I've read that the Open Pro are proven to be good rims and the only issue with the Ultegra hubs would be the cone system, and compared to the other set it'd be heavier and USD 100 more expensive.
What do you think about that? thank you very much
