Hello all.

I have been looking for over a week now and I have got a few in mind if anyone could give me some advise please?

I have seen this one in halfords today on a 22" frame.
But I am 180cm tall and I think the 22" was a little big as the bar was touching my man bits when standing over it lol.

Sorry for the long list but out of them I'm not sure what are good brands and ones to avoid.
Thanks for help or suggestions.

I own and use an older model subway in 26 wheel size, looked at your other choices, the subway looks the better bike. The subways are bombproof and reliable, disc brakes and rack mount's so good for daily commute abuse. You will probably need to upgrade the brake and gear cables as the cheap fitted ones grind up fairly quick other than that as with any bike just replace kit as it wears. The issue kenda tyres aren't the fastest rolling tyres but thats an easy upgrade dep on what your riding over mostly, tarmac etc?
Caveat - I buy and ride cheap, however, I reserve the right to advise on expensive kit that I have never actually used and possibly never will
  • Thanks for replying.

Pushing my budget a bit but I do like this one.

Just not sure if it will be suitable for gravel and country paths?
    Thank you.

Yes id say that will be fine for tow paths or gravel tracks, grass paths etc. It has limited gearing range being a single front chain ring, ok as long as your not riding a hilly area.

  • Thank you very much.

I will get that one then I think :)
  • Sorted now thank you.

I got paid the extra and got a Giant escape 3 2017.
