Elemnt Bolt Syncing

Setup my bolt to sync with Strava when I finish rides. Also want it to sync with Ridewithgps purely for routes because that and Komoot are the only ones it will provide turn by turn directions on, not strava.

What I am seeing is that the rides I complete are also being uploaded to ridewithgps. Doesn't bother me all that much but is there a way I can just get the routes synced to my bolt but not upload rides to this site?

Yeah doesn't look like that options even exists in the companion app. All I see is a setting for 'linked accounts' which I need selected so the routes I create on ridewithgps are downloaded to the bolt.

All i can think of is disabling auto uploads and manually uploading to strava only when I finish each ride?

Around the 13/14min mark he talks about syncing 'issues' the bolt has with stava maps. dunno if this helps at all

Only Komoot and Ride with gps routes will give you turn by turn notifications on the Wahoo Elemnt and Elemnt Bolt. The downside of that, is that it will auto upload the finished ride to Kommot or Ride with gps. If it bothers you but you still want turn by turn, delete the completed ride from Komoot etc next time you're planning a route. If you don't want turn by turn, use Strava for route planning.

Basically you will have to disable the "auto upload" feature.

Once you complete a ride, go into the results tab on the companion app. Click the share button in the top right hand corner and you can select to only upload to strava.

In all honesty though, whats the issue?
