CX bike for seat tube child seat?

Hi all,

Looking for for advice-I am a road cyclist at heart but now have a 2 year old daughter to attach onto my bike-so clearly my carbon race bike is out. I have a MTB with a child seat mounted on (via seat tube), but don't get a lot of joy riding it on the road. Was looking at getting a cx bike, specifically the Boardman CX team on C2W.

Would the bike be up to attaching a child seat-anyone use a cx bike for this?

    The cx team is a great bike to ride.Love the 1x11 gearing and the hydraulic brakes.pop into Halfords and ask them and see if they will pop a child's seat onto a display model for you.I have always found them very helpful despite what some say on here.
    When I got mine a couple of months ago it was classed as an end of line bike so was offered £75 of free accessories. Just check it still is the case.
