The title says it all; I've got about £260, possibly slightly more, to spend on a bike, and overall I'm not realy sure what to go for, I've been perusing ebay and gumtree for the past few days, and I'm still not too sure what to get, I can either wait a little longer, or I could look towards getting this;

It's going for about ~£250 for ebay, however there is a lack of information going about this bike, so I'm not overly sure what to think of it; it seems like it's a good bike, but there's a lack of information on the web and I have never heard of the brand Indigo, but this seems like a good bike.
It seems my best overall option is to look for a second hand bike, but still, I'm not too sure what to do.
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

How about something like this if you are looking for a mountain style bike.

Unfortunately, at the moment, all of the different models of the rockrider are too big for me (I'm about 5"7), all the models that're in stock anyways.0 -
I concur this is a decent bike for the money I would've got one myself if not for the small wheels as I got used to 29ers0

I was looking recently at just a frame. Carreras go pretty cheap, even conplete bikes can be had for your budget. There's a whole thread on here in 'Your Mountain Bikes' about them and the upgrades people have done. I decided to keep my old Shogun in the end and it's turning out ok!0
