Hi,

This is a bit of a random question but I cannot find a definitive answer anywhere, so hoping someone here can help me out.

The frame on my bike indicates that the bottom bracket should be a BB30 but a BB30 bottom bracket does not fit in unless I use a spacer. All the documentation I can find, suggest the bracket is a PF30, which would make sense given the fitting issue.

This is the bike, but mine was bought in the UK.

Maybe I should have taken everything apart, rather than relying on the frame marking being correct, before I purchased a new BB... sigh

Cheers for any help.

Well, some of the documentation, the review below suggests BB30... And if it is PF30, why would the frame indicate BB30?

The Bike Radar review mentions a BB30 chainset, not a BB30 bottom bracket.

A BB30 chainset will fit into a PF30 bottom bracket, which I guess is what your bike has.

The Norco info you linked to clearly says PF30.......

Thanks, all. So that probably explains most things, except the frame saying 'BB30', see below.

Anyway, I managed to fit a BBInfinite BB30 bracket with a Praxis Cycles [PF30] sleeve (https://praxiscycles.com/wp-content/upl ... vBB-01.jpg). The sleeve was already in there. Not ideal, it will still creak, but aside from spending another $150 it'll have to do :/
