Bottom bracket, will it fit? WHat will fit? compatability?

Hey All, this is my first time changing my BB that is a cartridge. I have a Specialized Rockhopper that currently has a a " pinnaccle Samox BB" ( https://www.evanscycles.com/pinnacle-sa ... oCtwXw_wcB )

I see all these 'square tapered' fancy words and i have no idea what will fit my bike! WIll something like this Shimano BB-R60 fit? http://www.wiggle.co.uk/shimano-bb-r60- ... owtech-ii/

Essentially what bottom bracket will fit do you guys know? Any around the £10-15 mark would be nice 8)

    You have a 24mm external BB, 24mm is the SHimano standard, so yes any Shimano or Shimano compatable will fit but it needs to be an MTB BB as road ones create a narrower fitment.

    Square taper has an axle that is square and tapered at each end!
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    pay the extra and get the xtr bb93 if you have a 68/73mm bb shell size.
