Have snapped the plastic disc guard between the spokes and rear gear cassette, any suggestions where i can get a replacement and what type i need (is the hardrock pro a 36 hole freehub??). Have looked on chain reaction cycles site but they dont see to stock them?

thanks in advance

Leave it off, it's pointless. As long as your derailleur's set up correctly, you won't overshift.
  • Hmm yeah but if you go over a large hump it 'could' cause it to overshift...i know the chances are slim but still

How does a bump make it overshift? Think carefully before you answer (the answer is it can't).

Last two bikes have not had a pie-dish, never had a chain in the spokes (HT and FS) in 8 years of regular riding.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

I've ridden without one for the last fifteen years and it's not been a problem once in that time.
