XT vs Deore

My current giant trance has deore m610 shifters. In the parts box I have some old xt m770 shifters which I was going to put on my Work bike.

But which are the better shifters, as if the XT are better I will put them on my giant and the Deore on the commuter.

    In theory the xt will be better, but if they are an old model and the deores new, the deores might be better.

    So it depends!

    M770 are not that old. If in good condition I'd go with those.
