STX-RC Rear Derailleur

I have a '95 Shimano STX-RC rear derailleur (RD MC33) which I have recently fitted to a single 8 speed GT Outpost conversion. Every thing is sweet except for some excessive play in the rear mech due to worn seals etc.
I've tried to source the parts (P seal and B axle assembly) using an online data sheet and scouring the web, but just can't find a conclusively compatible part number. There has to be something somewhere! I'd really like to keep the STX as it's in keeping with the frame.
Has anyone had a similar issue with this and if so would you be able to point me in the right direction?
I have a Claris medium cage RD shortlised for purchase, but this is a last resort.... :?
Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm also pretty sure someone on Retrobike will have one for sale.
Although personally I'd buy an old XT.I don't do smileys.
