GoPro Hero 5 Black vs TomTom Bandit?

Hi everyone! 
I'm very new to road cycling (just got the Specialized Diverge) and looking to get an Action Cam to use everyday for my commute to work (only a few miles), when going on holiday, other sports etc.
What are everyone's experiences with the GoPro and TomTom Bandit and which would you suggest out of the two? Pros, cons, video quality, battery, ease of use, editing, stabilization etc.
Also, any other Action Cam suggestions are welcome.

I don't know about the TomTom, but I own two GoPro's and the Cycliq Fly 6 & Cycliq Fly 12. I ride with the Cycliq units every day. They are a bit heavier but they have about 2X the battery life as the GoPro and have built in cycling lights.
