Does anyone have one and if so are you pleased with it

  • I've got 2 ribbles and well pleased with them. Was going to treat myself to a Granfondo but all the carbon frames now come with press fit bottom brackets. A few manufacturers have gone back to threaded bbs so I'll hang on for a bit!

Satisfied Ribble customer here. I bought a Gran Fondo five years ago and still love it. Great service from Ribble, too. I have been looking at the SL recently as well. It is a very nice looking bike but seems quite expensive when compared with "bigger" brands of the same spec. I am not a brand snob, by any means, but one of the attractions to Ribble was they offer a lot of bang for your buck when compared to other manufacturers, not sure this applies to the SL. I think an SL with Ultegra works out about £2-2.5k which could buy you a similarly equipped Specialized Tarmac or similar, if that is your thing. Having said that,I would have no problem buying from Ribble again.
