How to get sticker residue off my wheels?

Destickered my Racing Quattros last night as the decals were pealing at the corners, there is quite a bit of sticky residue left behind so I wondered what was the best thing to use to get rid of it?

Pop to local car paint factor and buy a can of their stuff - will take all the glue off straight away, spotty dog.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Citrus degreaser. Dab it on, go and make a cup of tea, come back and wipe it off with a dry cloth and wipe clean with a bit of soapy water or some pure acetone if you have it.0

Yep Citrus Degreaser - works a treat on old tub glue too.0

Yip - that's why I have the acetone at home too - for getting the tub rims as clean as a whistle after the citrus treatment. Works a treat.0 -

As said, citrus degreaser. Only thing is make sure you keep it away from your tyres, as it can degrade the rubber.Scott Foil RC

Thanks All, used chain cleaner as I didn't have any citrus degreaser and flash floor cleaner and it worked a treat!
Rubbed the degreaser onto the rims and let it soak in a bit, then soaked a cloth with flash and wiped it off! It took a little elbow grease but the rims look great now!
