Which wheel upgrade

Hello I have a BTwin Mach 720 road bike. It came with Btwin Aero2024 wheels, which to be honest I don't have any real issue with, although the ride can be a bit harsh (possibly to do with the 23mm tyres on them.
I was thinking about wheel upgrade for about £300 squids
Fulcrum Racing 3 for £287 or Vision Trimax 30 for £270. Or something else? Or would it not make any real difference and just don't bother?
I hear the Fulcrum racing 3 is similar to Zondas, and I can get them cheaper which is why I favour them here.
FYI I weigh about 68kg.
Thanks

I have some old 2010 Mavic cosmic elites on and I swapped bikes with my friend who has dura-ace c24 wheels on (he has a Cervelo s5). double the price of my bike and I really couldn't notice much difference if any. The most difference I noticed in speed was when I got a new bike (boardman team with an ultegra 6800 groupset) going from a giant defy 2. To be honest, I wouldn't bother, use your wheels until they're worn out, then upgrade. If you do want to upgrade, Aero is everything.0

haven't owned them but there seems to be good reviews and aero trumps weight 99% of the time.0 -

At 13mm internally, that's a very narrow rim design.0 -
Out of the two wheel sets you have mentioned, I would personally buy the fulcrums, they are a good set for the price.0

Aero trumps weight 99% of the time?
Do you cycle over 20mph for most of the time?
As suggested those Rims are narrow. Fulcrum racing 3 would be better imho.0 -

Didn't realize they are narrow, aero matters at slow speeds too!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSAHa8brcCM
And yes I do cycle over 20mph most of the time.0 -
If you find that your bike can be a little harsh then you need to go wider with the wheels, min of 17mm internal and match with some smooth high tpi 25s (Schwalbe One, for example, or GP4000s2). Just check clearances on the bike first. Lots of options, have a play with the search tool. Won't take too long before Zonda c17s, Quattro LG or 5LGs pop up, as well as others.
Edit: ...and when you have some wider wheels and nice rubber, don't be afraid to experiment with pressure. It is dependent on the roads you ride and your weight but, as an example, I am 65kg (on a very good week) and get away with 70f/80r. Makes the ride very smooth and enjoyable.0 -
Zonda C17s are currently at £313 on Wiggle and are well worth stretching your budget for if you can.2012 Cube Agree GTC0
