Built for comfort...

Hi,
I have a Cannonade Supersix which I have been very happy with for 5 years.
However, I do wonder whether my next bike should be of the Synapse/Roubaix variety. Namely, something more designed for comfort than outright speed. I'm 6'3" 210lbs and I'm never going to be a racer! I enjoy odd sportives and 50 miles or so rides at the weekend during which I do like to chase my own PRs on Strava.
What will I gain for going down this route and perhaps more importantly what will I lose out on?
I really fancy something like this,

Any thoughts much appreciated.

I think your rides are too short to worry about comfort... stick to something more racey if you like to chase segmentsleft the forum March 20230

I hated the latest Roubaix when I borrowed one.0

Absolutely love my Trek Domane. Very comfortable and feels quick (to me anyway)!0

My 58cm Cube has 610mm stack but it's my ability that determines my speed, yet the drops re so comfy.================

I hired a synapse a couple of weeks ago in Mallorca, my main bike is a TCR, it was noticeably smoother on crappy roads /lanes but felt a bit lifeless climbing, compared to the TCR.0
