Back home before dark and at a time when it doesn't seem too silly to have a beer and a curry (though that last bit, written down, looks silly in itself)

Enjoy that beer and curry MRS. Lamb dhansak, tarka dhal and a couple of parathas for me please.

    Thanks. Here, fill yer boots

    Cyber curry?!

I'm not getting it. Must do those Windows updates more often.

It's all about the cyber curry these days. This one is lovely, hot and sour, but tempered by the richness of the lentils.

Nope, must have been a disturbance in the force.

Wtf is 'ACL'? If your in de military, don't you get quick access to a colloquial quack? Has it swelled up like a quails egg?
I hope the knee is quiescent. Try frozen peas,

Anterior cruciate ligament. The big one running down the front of your knee that stops all instability.

Nah - funk that. I'm too special for that stuff.

I know this. It's anterior cruciate ligament. All middle aged folk do their ACL when they exercise. Except me.

When it happened one of bambina's friends (11 years old) told me exactly that - frozen peas will sort it.

I had to carefully explain that as a senior battlefield paramedic I believe that it may require more than the forces of Captain fukkkking Birds Eye to repair me.

You're an army doctor MF? You may be as mad as a box of frogs, but that must be a tough job.

Biggly tough, as the Donald would say.

And if you ever see TDSDWOCF feel free to her about me. See if she has any frozen peas that I could borrow.

    Yup - I work for a living.

Looking at ODP degree - after this it may happen sooner than expected.
