will a 29" front fork work with 26 wheel?

on the look out for a cheap front fork for my cube attention which has 26" wheels and been offered a brand new rockshox tk29 100mm travel, same size steerer etc but for 29" wheel size
will it fit ok with disk brakes etc and will it look massive or stupid on a 26" wheel bike :oops:

Technically it will work. However, it will change the head angle, mess up the handling and look stupid.

Don't do it.

the offset is likely to be too big as well and a 32mm 29 fork will be flexy
