Looling for some practical advice on wheel upgrades . I'm presently using Easton EA 70 wheels and 25 mm tyres. I mostly cycle on my own ,so no competitive club stuff but live in a fairly hilly part of south wesr France. Ihave been looking at 2 different tyres to upgrade , first is Fulcrum racing Zero black at about £ 719 and secondly Zonda C17 at around £325. I am
65 kgs in weight .Is there any major difference in performance between the 2 and does the almost double price of the Fulcrums seem a worthwhile premium to pay. All comments will be much appreciated .

the zero are a bit lighter and the ceramic coat might offer better braking... whether you need it or not it's up to you. They will also need specific pads, so extra cost.

I'd probably save the money and go for the Zonda, which are very good wheels

As Ugo has said, buy the Zondas and keep the difference in cost for some other toys.
