Hardtails

I have roughly £1000 with which to buy a new hardtail. I have 2 or 3 in mind. It's very likely that I've missed some great bikes, even though I've tried to do my research. Does anyone else have some more bikes that Spring to mind? I've tried to research as much as possible. But, I know I've missed some very obvious and good bikes. Thanks.
