Is anyone else doing this this year?
A group of us did it last year and had a great time so we are back again this year with a total of 16 riders made up of 4-man teams, pairs, solos and a couple of shorties doing a single 25km lap. There are loads of options for it including a few MTB races.
Last year I went solo but didn't take it at all seriously: did 3 laps, stopped for dinner, 2 laps, stopped to wait for a mate to have his lap so I could go out with him, finished that lap then went to bed for a few hours before waking up with the sunrise to do a few more. I still didn't come last.
This year I am in a pair so will have to try a little harder but it's a great atmosphere and the food is great!
