    Only the green ones, because they're soooo pretty and they play a nice honky tune if you stand there long enough. The red ones are mean and make people jump out at you, so best to get through quickly.

    I was always told to put left foot down and do this naturally. Makes sense to be leaning away from traffic.

    Try to click down a couple of gears before I stop to make the pull away easier, but often forget. Push off with right leg as it seems much stronger. I do have a little bit of trouble sometimes clipping in, as I have A600 pedals which are one-sided SPDs and they always flip over to the wrong side (bad balancing). Doesn't make too much of a problem though as the "flat" side is easy to pedal with and i'll often just use that side for a bit and clip in later with a flick of the toe to turn the pedal to the correct side.
