Looking to buy my first MTB. Spending about £600 - 700.
Will use it on local MTB trails.
Both of the above bikes get great reviews and I'm hoping both will be reduced shortly at Halfords.
From what I can see the main differences between the 2 bikes relate to the gearing system and the forks (Bizango - Suntour Raidon and Boardman - Rockshox Recon).
There's a price difference of about £200 and even if they are reduced in a sale I suspect the same price difference will remain. My question therefore is whether it's worth spending the extra to get some better components or whether the Bizango will be more than adequate?
