Rear derailleur prob

My rear derailleur (slx) suddenly stopped shifting up - to smaller cogs. It'll go down but not up. Any ideas?

    Change the cables, inner and outer, and then see.

    Don't worry. I sorted it. Broken cable.

    Broken, no, braking maybe?
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
