Thanks folks. Looked at wheel manufacturing before and there wanting nearly £10 a cone - looked at sjs and I can probably get a new axle with associated parts for that. I dropped them a mail. Cheers0

So, got in touch with sjs and they don't carry parts for joy tech hubs. They reckon I can just replace it with a generic 10 X 140mm hollow axle. Would this be right? I thought every axle was specific to the hub.. ?0

The axle is common, the cones aren't as depth can be different.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Yes its the cones I need to replace- the axle is fine. Looks like I'll need to strip a wheel and get a micrometer out.. thanks0

So unfortunately i cant get a hold of a micrometer anywhere (i live in rhodes, greece). I've stripped the axle and taken some pictures. Definately reckon its the cone as its pretty badly pitted.

I know a measuring tape isn't the most accurate- but could anyone point me in the right direction..
