Leaky pump

I have a birzman apogee IV track pump that's a couple of years old and seen plenty of use - latex tubes :D . Recently it seems to have developed an air leak inside the barrel and sometimes won't hold pressure while pumping. Wiggling the plunger makes it worse. Can't see anything online about servicing or spares. Any tips to fix this?

Cheers, EEM

The O-ring on the pump plunger/piston has probably worn out. I'm sure Birzmann will sell you one (or if you live in the countryside, try your local agricultural machinery merchant, they usually have every shape & size going)

yeah, take it apart, sounds like a worn washer/seal on the plunger, depending on construction you may be able to improvise something, or try the uk distributor for spares
