After sitting in a country pub drinking water yet again, I cracked and said let's nip into the local for a quick pint......

Today is a long run in a minute, should get back in time to do dad's taxi into town, whilst the ceiling gets plastered

The afternoon is the joys of running a stall at the church - thanks to the wife for volunteering me

    Later will be ale

Club charity ride today, mixed weather forecast but a tailwind on the last leg, steak, peppercorn sauce and jacket spud when I return.

A weekend of normality beckons. Off down Waitrose the round to a mates to sample the product of his new coffee machine. More footy later even though The Champions are already Champions again.

    Afternoon folks,
Traditional slow start was had. Didn't get woken by the neighbours so they've either gone away or one of them has gone postal and they're all dead. None of us heard a killing spree so probably the former. Been working on the Mini but rain has stopped play.
My head doesn't hurt either, remarkable after the beer festival last night. It might start hurting if I sober up. Rugby club awards tonight.

I vote we all get one then we can smash broken bits of bicycles with hammers, douse them in unlit fire, throw them into next door's garden then fire arrows that are coated in fire that is on fire at the unlit fire that the hammered bicycle bits have been doused in therefore turning the unlit fire into fire that is on fire.

    Now that would rock.

    POIDH

Been doing some research on the furniture in my folks house to see if its worth something as it looked quite decent. Turns out it's original Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson solid oak c. mid 1960s and is worth a mint. Christ know where they got the money from for that stuff.

Whilst drinking grappa, from that place that V68 said made the best grappa, but then you disagreed with him and said some other place. One of them would do.

I made hot dogs for me and the boy.
